I also enjoy the subtle beauties of life. I hold a degree in Journalism with a focus on Media Studies, and I have a strong interest in understanding the motivations behind human behavior.​

Nature Lover

I’ve always loved nature. I've worked at summer camps in Colorado, run my own nature camps for children in Austin, collaborated with Austin Families in Nature to provide outdoor experiences for families, and created the Niksen Nature blog to promote mental health through unstructured time in nature.

I almost always have music on, and enjoy seeing live shows, dancing and even singing karaoke!
